Allison Klimetz
Allison Klimetz earned her Master of Arts degree in Theatre from Hunter College. During that time, she immersed herself in theatre history, theory, playwriting, acting and directing. In 2010, she received the Rita and Burton Goldberg Award in Playwriting for her original works. Mrs.Klimetz also spent time directing and acting at the 13th Street Repertory in New York City.
Mrs. Kilmetz is passionate about arts education, and has taught theatre in various forms and directed productions for young actors. She is inspired by these words of Oscar Wilde: “I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.”
Mrs. Klimetz lives in Nanuet, New York with her husband and two young children. She enjoys participating in school events, attending dance classes, reading, cooking new and nostalgic recipes. and hosting family gatherings.
