Johanna Webber

Johanna Webber is an attorney and mother of eight. She was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and graduated Highest Distinction from Indiana University with a B.A. in English, a minor in French, and commendations from the Honors Division. She received her law degree from Harvard Law School, where she focused on children and family rights and the prevention of child abuse and neglect.

Johanna has practiced law at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, LLP, consistently ranked one of America’s top law firms, and Cooper & Kirk, PLLC, one of the nation’s premier trial and appellate litigation firms. She focuses on complex commercial, securities, and constitutional litigation.

In her current role in the delightful world of stay-at-home motherhood, Johanna has undertaken a host of different and wide-ranging challenges, such as making Revolutionary War soldiers out of marshmallows and getting a Skittle unstuck from a 3 year old’s nose. She also volunteers as Director of Marketing & Communications for Our Lady of Mount Carmel School.

Johanna lives with her husband, Assemblyman Jay Webber, and their six youngest children in Morris Plains. Their oldest daughter is a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy, while their second oldest is a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Their third daughter is a senior at LGA and has committed to join her sister as a swimmer and cadet at West Point.
