THE WORLD IS YEARNING FOR YOU…

FIND OUT WHERE YOU FIT

Life is not just a succession of events or experiences. It is a search for the true, the good and the beautiful. It is to this end that we make our choices; it is for this that we exercise our freedom; it is in this – in truth, in goodness and in beauty – that we find happiness and joy. -Pope Benedict XVI

LGA offers an outstanding mentorship program that pairs students with professionals from a broad spectrum of vocations. Created by our Director of Mission and Board member Dr. David Apelian, in collaboration with members of our faculty and staff, the program takes full advantage of the rich experiences and connections of the LGA community. It invites students into relationships with members of such diverse institutions as The Julliard School, a biotechnology firm pioneering treatment for one of the world’s rarest diseases, world renowned seminaries for priestly formation, and New Jersey state government, among many others. Freshmen and sophomores are introduced to a steady stream of guest lecturers eager to offer their own stories as well as guidance in their respective fields. For juniors and seniors, the program takes on an even more personal bent, as professionals serve as mentors and advisors for students’ culminating theses.

The mentorship program offers students a one-of-a-kind opportunity to immerse themselves in real-time experience while discerning the ideal intersection between their own interests and talents and God’s calling for their lives.

Here’s a small sampling of the kinds of relationships our students can enjoy through our mentorship program.*
