Olga Marshall
Olga Marshall graduated from MIT with a Bachelors in Brain and Cognitive Sciences, and from Columbia with a Masters in Biomedical Engineering. She worked for many years at the NYU Medical Center Department of Neurology, assisting in brain research using different imaging modalities. Her first position allowed her to record intracranial EEG of many different sensory and cognitive experiments in epilepsy patients. Her second position focused on the study of multiple sclerosis patients’ blood vessel elasticity and resting state connectivity. Relying on MRI imaging, she was involved in every step of the research project from data collection, to analysis, to publication. Mrs. Marshall is thrilled to continue sharing her passion for scientific exploration with her students.
Mrs. Marshall is also very involved in the local Hungarian community. She is an active member of Saint Stephen’s Church, the Garfield Scout Troop (of which she was the patrol leader for 6 years), and the Hungarian School in Montclair, where she is currently the geography teacher. She met her husband, Laszlo, through this community, and their 3 daughters are currently students at OLMC School.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing board games with her family, working in the garden, and taking care of her chickens.
